So, I go through phases of travelling, sometimes I do it a lot, sometimes not at all – depending on my schedule. Plus, my family live at the opposite side of the country from me, so if I do ever visit, it means I have to haul all of the things I’m working on over to theirs and continue working. Being a typical girl, when I do travel, I overpack. Overpack being the understatement of the century. I recently went to Paris for the Premiere Vision exhibition and may or may not have taken a few too many pairs of shoes with me and an extra 3 outfits (you just never know!)…. And this all brings me to the Capsule Work Wardrobe Challenge.
A friend recently challenged me to their Capsule Work Wardrobe Challenge, which involves packing for a weekend work trip. And a challenge it is indeed – for someone with an overflowing wardrobe as I have! So, here are my essential picks!

For me, the work wardrobe just has to fit around culottes. There is no other piece for me, and let’s face it I own a pair in every colour at this point! They’re probably the most versatile style garment I’ve ever had, and can easily be dressed up or down while remaining smart for whatever field you’re in.
